Amber Rae Lambke: This is a great post! My Mom and I are also friends on Facebook and she comments and writes on my wall very frequently. While I can't speak to how your kids feel, I actually enjoy her use of it to check up on me. It makes her happy and helps her feel connected with me even though I live 3,000 miles away.

You make a very interesting point in feeling like an outsider. I think my Mom has felt this way too. In the past, she's asked, "will [friend] think it's weird if I write on their wall?" which is something I'd never ask myself.
