Visual Social Networking is a unique way for community members to "see" who else is in their online community and learn who they might want to meet through a view known as the "People Map."
When a member joins a community, they will fill out a customized member profile, sharing things about themselves as well as their interests. At that point a personalized People Map is created for them. This visual map allows them to see which other members of their community most closely match their interests.
Note that the "Filtering" system on the right side of the screen enables a community member to quickly show or hide any member who matches that particular profile attribute.
